Which glasses suit best for our drinks?
We prefer to use stemmed glasses for our drinks. This is how the aromas and flavor profiles of the drinks can develop best and you can taste and smell even more from the drinks than the label says.
Flowery notes, acidity and a slight sweetness are the core aromas of RHUBARB ELDERFLOWER. So not only desserts can be accompanied, asparagus or light meat and fish dishes also get the right partner. BEETROOT COCOA is our juice for the cold season and, thanks to the slightly earthy taste of the beetroot, not only goes well with game dishes. Thanks to the fruity and chocolaty notes of cocoa, the mixture can be served wonderfully with desserts, but also with foie gras as a terrine or fried. We also use the juice of the cocoa fruit, which gives our BEETROOT COCOA a slight acid note. BEETROOT COCOA releases different aromas and flavors with each degree.
Bitter and herbal notes combine harmoniously with fennel and become DRY FENNEL. A perfect accompaniment to Mediterranean cuisine, saltwater fish such as loup de mer, but also mussel dishes and grilled meat.
Probably the least known, but also the most popular flavor is umami - the tastiness or as we say "Schmackofatz". In TOMATO GINGER you taste pure umami. The essence is the perfect accompaniment to crustaceans and seafood from the Mediterranean cuisine, in general to summer dishes.
Creamy, fruity, flowery, sour - that's how you could describe LITSCHI YUZU. Perfect harmony can be found above all with fish, sea creatures such as sea urchins, but also almonds and chocolate.
The taste of CELERY VERJUS cannot be denied. Pure celery juice refined with a little fruity verjuice gives poultry, braised dishes, mushrooms or truffles the dot on the “i”.
BLOOD ORANGE COCONUT
Fresh, slightly bitter and the taste of salted caramel characterize BLUTORANGE KOKOS above all. The coconut water makes it the perfect accompaniment to Asian dishes, as well as desserts and cheese.
Berry depth and the acidity of the blackcurrant give CASSIS SZECHUAN its full-bodied taste. The delicate citrus note and the slightly numbing feeling of the Szechuan give a side kick to desserts, game dishes or even foie gras.
CITRUS TONIC 1:5
The syrup is not only a perfect aperitif, but also a fresh and sparkling drink for in between when poured with soda. Our ZITRUS TONIC 1:5 not only complements fish dishes, but also earthy vegetables such as spinach and grilled meat.
Bitter notes and fine acidity, as well as floral abundance make you want more, and rowanberry hibiscus not only a first-class aperitif. Cheese, white meat and game are also wonderfully complemented and accompanied.
With its slight sweetness, the sour and onion-spicy brew made from the ROTE(n) ZWIEBEL is a true all-rounder that goes wonderfully with smoked fish, spicy pork belly, but also with a quiche or a salad.
